We’re excited to share our Supplier Code of Conduct. SLG has developed and adopted this document to guide our decision-making criteria when we make purchasing decisions as a business. A supplier code of conduct is a great tool to bring transparency and clarity to any company’s procurement process, and it can help a company communicate to its vendors the values and objectives it holds in sourcing the goods and services it needs for its business. Once adopted by a company through a formal action by the board of directors, the supplier code of conduct is binding on all agents of a company who are responsible for interacting with vendors. Our supplier code of conduct can be used as a template for any small business looking to increase transparency, make ethical and responsible purchasing decisions, and use its spending power to contribute to a more equitable, sustainable economy.
